For the last 17 years, I’ve made the annual trek to Las Vegas for Channel Partners. What used to be a very focused telecommunications event has now morphed into a cornucopia of technology and cloud services, equipment, and various selling and distribution models. Look around at who is exhibiting, attending, or holding meetings outside the exhibit hall and you get a sense of where the industry has been and where it is going. Here are some observations.
