Convey Services today announced a new service, called Vendor Match, designed to create new sales partnerships by matching telecommunications carriers and technology providers with master agents interested in expanding their product offerings. Vendor Match uses the Convey Partner Engagement Platform to profile vendors with an online catalog, so that master agents can conveniently explore new products or services to represent.
"Vendor Match is the ultimate matchmaking service in the channel because it provides vendors with visibility to a larger group of master agents and gives master agents a convenient way to explore new vendor opportunities," said Carolyn Bradfield, CEO of Convey Services. "Carriers and technology vendors sign up for Vendor Match through Convey and create a catalog on Convey Channel (www.conveychannel.com), the industry hub site. They add information about their company, partner programs and upload content that details their product offerings. Convey then invites Master Agents to explore these catalogs on Convey Channel. If a vendor forms a relationship with a new Master Agent, the online catalog can be added to a Master Agent's Convey Site, with a single click."
"We give vendors a platform to showcase their services and solutions and a way to make it easier for master agents to expand their portfolio," Bradfield added. "The master agent and vendors work out their business relationship independent of Convey and alert us to add the new catalog to the Convey Master Agent site."
The Convey Partner Engagement Platform is used by the Master Agent community to provide a single online location for content, training, promotions, and events that will be consumed by their agents. The business result is improved engagement between vendors and their indirect sales channel and increased efficiency in getting information to the field. The platform allows vendor advertising on the home page as well as inside of catalogs. Vendors can showcase product literature, training, videos, and webinar events and link agents to other systems for quoting or administration.
